Maggie Longmire, folk singer, blues rocker, and roots music singer/songwriter is one of East Tennessee's finest artists. Maggie was the winner of The Knoxville Metro Pulse Readers Poll 2003, best local musician and best local CD release, "Teachers & Travelers".
Maggie has written 12 beautiful new songs and this time out is sharing the lyric writing chores with her brother John Longmire. This project will showcase artists in the field of Americana Music in East Tennessee. Maggie has recruited a great ensemble cast of musicians and singers, Free Soil Farm, to perform on Granddaughters.
